What Makes IDEAS Distinctive
- Many small entrepreneurs have creative business ideas but often lack finances to start ventures or working capital to expand ongoing businesses.
- Formal lending institutions, and even micro-credit facilities, can remain beyond reach due to collateral demands, guarantor requirements, and high interest rates.
- This is where IDEAS steps in. We enable less-privileged people to overcome stringent barriers that block entry into the entrepreneurial world.
- We support budding entrepreneurs through funding, mentoring, and training to help ideas grow into viable businesses and improve livelihoods.
- We provide grants as well as interest-free and collateral-free loans. The loan component is recovered in monthly installments after an appropriate grace period.
- IDEAS support is truly no strings attached.

Beyond Philanthropy

- At IDEAS, we believe that to “Do Good,” an organization must first “Do Well” through legitimate and sustainable avenues. Our financial independence is built on a model that goes beyond traditional donor-driven philanthropy:
- Professional Services & Ventures: Income is generated through management fees and dividends from our joint venture consulting company, Infotech IDEAS [Pvt] Ltd.
- Strategic Investments: Returns from carefully managed investments strengthen our financial base.
- Capital Fund Growth: A steadily expanding capital fund enables annual disbursement support for selected initiatives.
- By not relying on external donor funding, IDEAS remains free to set priorities aligned with its governing principles—focusing on empowering low-income, less-privileged yet talented individuals with entrepreneurial potential. This approach ensures that our mission is not charity-dependent, but self-sustaining and impact-driven.
What kinds of projects does IDEAS support?
